Will Smith will star in Men in Black III in 3D, according to Variety, which will be released May 25, 2012.  It will reunite Smith with director Barry Sonnenfeld, who helmed the first two films in the series, and Tommy Lee Jones, who is in “advanced negotiations” to play Agent Kay once again, according to the report.   

The film has been scheduled to start shooting in August (see “Production Date Set”).
