Game publisher Asmodee has acquired a majority interest in Esdevium, the largest hobby games distributor in the UK, the companies announced last Friday.  The tie-up was “facilitated by an historically close relationship between the companies,” the announcement said.  Esdevium is the exclusive UK distributor for Asmodee games.  

Current management will remain in place.  “We will continue with business as usual, but with the benefit of even greater resources and wider horizons,” Esdevium Managing Director Daniel Steel said.
