Fantasy Flight Games has announced the 4th Quarter release of Blood Bowl: Team Manager—The Card Game.  Designed by Eric M. Lang and Cory Konieczka, the Blood Bowl: Team Manager game is based on an old Games Workshop property.  It’s a standalone game of deck-building action that takes 2-4 players through the cutthroat excitement of an entire Blood Bowl season in just about one hour of playing time.  Some players rely on speed, others on size.  Some will mercilessly injure their opponents, while others cheat like crazy to score touchdowns.  The object is to build a formidable team and win the Blood Bowl championship.

Players choose one of six unique factions, Humans, Dwarfs, Wood Elves, Orcs, Skaven, or Chaos, and manage their team by customizing their decks with the best new draft picks, and of course the “field generals” can also employ devious tactics to take their opponents’ star players out of action—and since this is Blood Bowl, this can mean that the offending player is gone for good.
