
Cryptozoic has announced a new hobby organized play program for the World of Warcraft TCG, as well as its tournament program and schedule for the coming year.
Holiday Celebrations are new events that can be hosted approximately every two months by any stores that host Battlegrounds league events (see “World of Warcraft TCG: Battlegrounds”). Holiday Celebrations are centered around key dates, beginning with the Feast of Winter Veil in December. Participants will receive a special holiday-themed promo card, and a holiday-themed playmat will be given to each winner and one randomly chosen participant.
Hobby Celebration participants will also receive WoW TCG achievement for the events; participants in all six Holiday Celebrations will receive a special playmat. The events are as follow:

Cryptozoic has added a new tournament program, the World of Warcraft TCG World Cup, to its schedule for the coming year. This is a program for three-person teams, which will represent their countries for one prize, second only to the World Championship in prizes and prestige.
The World Championship will rotate locations; the 2011 event will be held in
One Realm Championship season will be held each year, rather than three as in the past.
