Slugfest Games was showing two new releases for November in its booth at Gen Con:  The Red Dragon Inn:  Gambling?  I’m In! and The Red Dragon Inn 3.  Both titles can be played as stand-alone games, or added to an existing Red Dragon Inn game as an expansion.

The Red Dragon Inn:  Gambling?  I’m In!  offers nine different gambling games inspired by the wacky world of The Red Dragon Inn games. Also included is the unique “Rogues and Warriors” deck required to play all nine games.  The deck includes 90 cards divided into six suits, and three special “Dragon Cards.”  The games included range from a simple bluffing game to a cooperative hand-building game.

Players can play the nine gambling games on their own, or they can be combined with any of the three The Red Dragon Inn sets to replace the in-game gambling events.  Special rules for combining the games are included in the set.

The Red Dragon Inn:  Gambling?  I’m In!  will have a suggested retail price of $20.00.

The Red Dragon Inn 3 is a new version of the popular fantasy card game.  Like the two earlier versions, each player represents an adventurer relaxing in a tavern trying not to pass out or spend all of his gold.  The Red Dragon Inn 3 includes four characters:  Wizgille the Tinkerer, Bremaster Phrenk, Kaylin the Renegade, and Serena the Pious.

The new set can be played on its own, or it can be combined with either of the earlier games to allow more players and new character combinations.  Combining all three games allows up to 12 players to play together.

The Red Dragon Inn 3 will have a suggested retail price of $38.00.

Both earlier versions of The Red Dragon Inn are scheduled to be reprinted, and are also expected to be available in November.  The retail price of both sets will increase to $38.00 with the new printing.
