Hot on the heels of the standard Duelist Revolution release for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game Konami Digital Entertainment is releasing Duelist Revolution Special Edition.  Each box of Duelist Revolution Special Edition (MSRP $9.99) includes three booster packs from the Duelist Revolution booster set and one of two Super Rare variant cards, either “Gold Sarcophagus” or “Drill Warrior.”

 

Previously available only as a top prize card or as a Gold Rare, Duelist Revolution Special Edition now makes the ultra-powerful “Gold Sarcophagus” card more available to everyone.  Duelists who activate this Spell Card can choose any card in their deck and set it aside.  Two turns later they can add the card to their hand.  This power makes the “Gold Sarcophagus” card perfect for setting up a potent card combination or getting a favorite monster, spell or trap into your hand.

 

The “Drill Warrior” is a triple-power card with the ability to attack an opponent’s Life Points directly, remove itself from play so that it can’t be destroyed, or return a monster from the graveyard back to a player’s hand. 

 

The three Duelist Revolution booster packs also give players a chance to acquire some of the potent new cards from that expansion including the versatile “Fabled Raven” Tuner monster and the “Pot of Duality,” a Spell Card that gives the holder a choice from among the top three cards of their deck.
