An ICv2 Release. ICv2 is proud to announce the winners of our DBZ Dollars Display Contest, which asked retailers to show us the ways they've merchandised this top anime, manga, game, and toy property in their stores. As part of the contest each retailer was asked to tell us a little about their stores and their display, as well as including pictures of the display. We have included these entry submissions along with pictures from the winning stores in the accompanying articles.
First Place Winner-Redrum Comics in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Redrum Comics is located in Scottsdale, Arizona, and has historically been a strong store for Dragonball Z. It hosts DBZ CCG event sweekly, and stocks a wide range of other DBZ products. For this contest, Redrum created displays in three different areas of the store and used wall scrolls to draw attention to the property throughout the store. Click here to see more pictures of the Redrum Comics display, and to read their description of the store, the display, and the results.
Second Place Winner-Samurai Comics in Phoenix, Arizona
Samurai Comics is a new store located in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition to grouping Dragonball Z items around a poster, Samurai also used its in-store television to add a video component to the display. And it coordinated its display with events to draw further attention to the property. Click here to see more pictures of the Samurai Comics display, and to read their description of the store, the display, and the results.
ICv2 would like to thank all of our entrants and our sponsors, Score, Diamond Comic Distributors, and Viz Communications. This display contest is part of our DBZ Dollars promotion.
