Twentieth Century Fox has acquired rights to Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, the graphic novel-based 3D film written by Seth Grahame-Smith, directed by Timor Bekmambetov, and produced by Bekmambetov and Tim Burton (see “Abraham Lincoln:  Vampire Hunter”), according to Variety.  Release is planned for 2012.

Seth Grahame-Smith is also the creator of the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies mash-up.
