Mayfair Games and Origins have announced that Mayfair has become an official co-sponsor of the 2011 Origins Game Fair, which will be held in Columbus, Ohio at the Columbus Convention Center from June 22-26th.

Mayfair is increasing the scope of its activities at Origins.  It will expand its space in the exhibit hall to over 5,000 square feet and add a new Mayfair Family Fun Area along with more demo tables and tournament space.

Off the show floor, Mayfair will once again provide “The Mayfair Room” with tournaments, a fully-stocked library of the company’s games, and even more life-sized giant games than last year.  Attendees at Origins can purchase a Mayfair Games Room Ribbon, which will give them complimentary access to the Games Room events and the all-new Preview Play Program.

Mayfair will also continue to sponsor the Origin’s Kid’s Program and the Origins Theme Areas.  Participation in the Origin’s Kid’s Program grew by 25% in 2010.

The announcement of Mayfair’s increased role at Origins comes just a month after the company announced plans to become an official co-sponsor of Gen Con (see “Mayfair to Sponsor Gen Con”).
