Dynamite Entertainment will launch Bring the Thunder, featuring plots, designs and painted covers by Alex Ross; scripts by Jai Nitz; and art by Wilson Tortosa in December.  In the first issue, after being mortally wounded in Afghanistan, elite Air Force para-rescue jumper Wayne Russell discovers an experimental weapon which upon misfiring transforms him into a being of living sound.

“Bring the Thunder is about a hot-button superhero for our times," says Alex Ross. “He finds that his new state of being as a sonic battery gives him the ability to affect change at a local level.  From fighting gangs in Chicago to insurgents in the mountains of Afghanistan, this hero deals with real dangers that plague the world today.”
