Fantasy Flight Games will release the Exodus Expansion for its Battlestar Galactica Board Game in January.  This is the second expansion for BSG; the first, Pegasus Expansion, was released almost 18 months previously (see “BSG:  Pegasus Expansion”).  The property is not as hot as it was when the show was running, but the second series, Caprica, is currently airing the second half of its first season (see “Caprica Returning in October”).

The new expansion ($39.95) introduces three new options for Battlestar Galactica games.

The Cylon Fleet option uses the new Cylon Fleet game board, the CAG Title Card, and the Viper Mark VII models to increase the activity of the Cylon ships, which gives pilot characters more challenges.

The Conflicted Loyalties option uses new Loyalty Cards and Personal Goals, which adds an element of danger when looking at other players’ Loyalty Cards.

The Ionia Nebula option introduces Allies and Trauma Tokens.  Allies roam around the game board, handing out benefits or detriments ot players depending on the type of Trauma Token assigned to them.
