Diamond Book Distributors has added a half dozen more publishers to the growing list of companies that it represents to the mainstream bookstore trade over the last couple of weeks -- Abiogenesis, Ablaze, AdHouse, Avalanche, Blue Line Pro, and Oblagon. Gary Spencer Millidge founded the London-based Abiogenesis Press for the publication of his award-winning series, Strangehaven. Ablaze, a new publisher founded by Rob Dunlop and Peter Lumby, will release its first graphic novel, Tozzer and the Invisible Lap Dancers, this November. AdHouse Books is an up-and-coming independent comic publisher that recently won the SPX Ignatz Award for Joel Priddy's Pulpatoon Pilgrimage. Avalanche is a game publisher of d20 supplements, historical simulations, and family games. Blue Line Pro, best known for its comic art supplies, also publishes graphic novels including Parts Unknown, StormQuest: TimeStorm and Little White Mouse. Oblagon, Inc., inexplicably out of alphabetical order, is Syd Mead's personal publishing house. Mead is a futurist, artist and designer who has worked on Blade Runner, Tron, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, as well as on the anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam. Coming next, the C's!
