AMC has announced that the first six-episode season of The Walking Dead will be available on DVD and Blu-ray from Anchor Bay.  Amazon has the release date as March 8th for both. 

The show is still growing in popularity (see “Walking Dead Ratings Grow”).  The home video release will help keep the property in the public eye while fans wait for the second season (see “Second Season for Walking Dead”).
