From TV to the Internet, it seems everyone has something to say about how to travel the world on a budget, and now Z-Man Games does too. Travel Blog is a game about traveling and writing about travel while saving as much of your limited funds as possible.

The game of Travel Blog is a short filler-type game for two to five players.  The players are cast in the role of amateur travel journalists, visiting various places in the USA or Europe and earning stipends from the “Project Boundless” website that funds their expeditions.

Players choose to play on a map of the USA or Europe, and knowledge of geography is helpful since the travel destinations are chosen without looking at the map.  Victory goes to the player that can best conserve his or her limited funds, saving for a final luxurious vacation at the end of the game.

Travel Blog was designed by Vlaada Chvatil (Galaxy Trucker, Space Alert, Prophecy).  It was presented at the Essen fair in October, and Z-Man expects to release the game in the US in late December.
