Apple’s iTunes store has released its lists of bestselling apps for iPhone and iPad in 2010, and comic apps were in both.  Comics by ComiXology was in the top five grossing iPhone book apps for 2010.

And reflecting how much better suited the larger screen of the iPad is for reading comics, three comic reading apps were in the top five grossing iPad book apps for 2010:  Marvel Comics, Comics by ComiXology, and DC Comics.  The Marvel and DC apps are also powered by ComiXology.
