Dark Horse Presents, the venerable anthology comic that debuted in 1986 and lasted until 2000 as a print publication, returns in April with an 80-page issue full of the same sort of material that made it such a compelling read for all those years.  After a 3-year online incarnation that began in 2007, DHP returns to print with a stellar issue that includes a first look at Frank Miller’s Xerxes, a new chapter of Paul Chadwick’s Concrete, and the debut of new hardboiled cop saga from Neal Adams.

The original Dark Horse Presents, which lasted for 157 issues, featured the debuts of a number of classic creator-owned comics including Chadwick’s emotionally rich saga, Concrete, Frank Miller’s noir comics masterpiece, Sin City, and John Byrne’s innovative superhero ensemble comic, Next Men.

Neal Adams' Blood
The new Dark Horse Presents sports two covers, one featuring Miller’s Xerxes and the other Chadwick’s Concrete.  In addition to the continuation of classic DHP sagas, the new anthology also contains the 8-page debut of Neal Adams’ Blood.  The eponymous hero is described by his creator as “a good cop, but a nasty piece of work.”
