Does the influence of The Walking Dead have no bounds? Has the zombie plague spread to those cuddliest and most comforting of childhood companions, the Teddy Bears? The answer is a definite yes according to Evil Ted, a new zombie-themed card game designed and illustrated by Kit Cox that will be published later this year by Steve Jackson Games. 

 

In Evil Ted, the once happy town of Cotton Falls is suffering through a plague of “zombears,” and a few lucky survivors have barricaded themselves to withstand the onslaught of ravenous childhood toys. In this boxed card game that comes with 168 cards, rules, and a die players attempt to break out of their base, find a vehicle, and acquire the equipment needed to defend themselves against the zombear hordes—as well as from their companions, when they become zombified. The object of the game is simple—survival, but it isn’t that easy to avoid “getting stuffed” in Evil Ted.
