This will be a big year for the long-running Pokemon franchise, with a new videogame release supported by a mall tour, a TCG expansion, and a feature DVD and tie-in manga release all planned. 

 

A mall tour supporting Pokemon Black and Pokemon White will visit 14 U.S. cities in February and March, supporting the March 6th release of the games for the Nintendo DS platforms. The mall tours will include the opportunity to play the game, associated screenings of feature film #13 (Zoroark: Master of Illusions), a Celebi character distribution at GameStop stores, and more. 

 

This year will also see an all-new TCG expansion, a new feature film, animated series, and merchandise. 

 

On February 1st, Viz Media will release the 12th feature, Pokemon: Arceus and the Jewel of Life, on DVD and in a manga adaptation.
