Last year North Star Games released a kid-friendly version of its party-friendly bluffing game Wits and Wagers (see “Wits and Wagers Goes Family”). The company’s first foray into family games has been a roaring success. So far Wits and Wagers Family has gone through three printings. This year at Toy Fair North Star is planning a similar move with its highly successful party game Say Anything. The big difference in Say Anything Family is that all 360 questions are geared towards the entire family with the “adult” angles removed.

The other new game that North Star is revealing at Toy Fair is Crappy Birthday, an easy-to-play card game in the vein of Apples to Apples. The object of Crappy Birthday, which will be released this summer, is to top your opponents by giving the worst gift.
