The Comics by comiXology App has been inducted into the Apple iPad Apps Hall of Fame.  The Apple iPad Apps HoF honors apps that are both elegant and popular.  So far the comiXology App is the only comic book app in the iPad Hall of Fame, which is quite understandably dominated by games such as the wildly popular Angry Birds, as well as the Carcassonne strategy game, and the addictive Cut the Rope, though other non-game apps such as the CNN app for iPad and Wikipedia Articles for iPad have also made the grade.

 

The induction of the Comics by comiXology App comes just a week after comiXology released its innovative Comics4Kids app, which is specifically designed for young readers and features titles from such publishers as Archie Comics, Image Comics, and GKids (see “Kids Comics App”).
