Cryptozoic Entertainment has announced the July release of Twilight of the Dragons, the 15th expansion for the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game, which is based on Blizzard Entertainment’s popular massively multiplayer online roleplaying game.

 

After Deathwing emerged from Deepholm and wreaked havoc in Azeroth, “The Shattering” brought about widespread devastation across Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms. Twilight of the Dragons concludes the “Cataclysm” theme of the previous Worldbreaker and War of the Elements Expansions. Twilight of the Dragons features the black and twilight dragonflights, led by the new master hero Deathwing himself.  With this set WoW TCG players can take advantage of Deathwing’s destructive nature by making sacrifices of allies, equipment, and abilities to take opponents down, triggering special effects as cards sent to the graveyard. 

 

Look for more details about the Twilight of the Dragons expansion to be released shortly. As always, this new expansion will give World of Warcraft TCG players the opportunity to acquire “Loot” cards that provide cosmetic upgrades for their online World of Warcraft characters—including non-combat pets and an exclusive mount.
