Fantasy Flight Games has released details on the next expansion for the classic fantasy board game Talisman.  The Dragon Expansion is scheduled to release this September.

 

Three powerful “Draconic Lords” threaten the kingdom, overseen by the powerful Dragon King and supported by mighty dragon legions.  The heroes must face new challenges and trials, eventually facing the Dragon King himself in battle.

 

The Dragon Expansion features a new double-sided inner kingdom board, each with new challenges and victory conditions.  Over 300 new cards and tokens are included, with a focus on dragons and the Draconic Lords, which gain in power as the game goes on.  There are also six new player characters for the game, each with it’s own sculpted miniature.

 

The Dragon Expansion will have a suggested retail price of $39.95.  The fourth edition Talisman game is needed to play.
