30 Days of Night creator Steve Niles is returning to his creation to write a new ongoing 30 Days of Night series for IDW.  Veteran artist Sam Kieth will provide the art for the ongoing monthly 30 Days of Night comic, which debuts, appropriately, in October.  30 Days of Night #1 will be a full color, 32-page comic with a cover price of $3.99.

 

The new series will mark a return to the title for horror maven Niles, who promises to shake things up in the 30 Days of Night universe with this saga, which shifts from Barrow, Alaska to a seedy Los Angeles where a vampire resurrection is well underway.

 

Niles original 30 Days of Night miniseries, which was published by IDW in 2002, was made into a movie in 2007, which earned $75.5 million worldwide and spawned a sequel, 30 Days of Night: Dark Days.
