Marvel has released two teaser images for its Fear Itself event.  The first teaser highlights the epic donnybrook in Fear Itself #5 as several Worthy-possessed Marvel superheroes including the Incredible Hulk and Thing square off against Thor.  As expected Marvel is planning two variant covers for Fear Itself #5 (rated “T+” $3.99), which is written by Matt Fraction and penciled by Stuart Immonen and is due out on August 10th.  In addition to the regular cover by Steve McNiven, Billy Tan and Stuart Immonen will create variant covers.

 

The second image focuses on other Fear Itself conflicts.  The X-Men find one their number is possessed as well as Juggernaut brings a new brand of dementia to Uncanny X-Men #540, while Namor confronts Attuma in Fear Itself: The Deep #2, and Tony Stark must strike a deal with Odin in Invincible Iron Man #506.
