Smirk and Dagger Games has announced the August release of Sutakku (MSRP $24.99), an addictive, push-your-luck dice-stacking game designed by Curt Covert for one or more players ages 14 and up. Sutakku, which features classic Japanese design aesthetics, will debut at Gen Con.  The dice, which were manufactured especially for the game, feature elegant Japanese calligraphy and, at 3/4”, they are much larger than most dice, which makes them much easier to stack into towers that can reach 12 dice high.

Smirk and Dagger is known for its stab your opponents (or friends) in the back games like Cutthroat Caverns or Hex Hex, but in Sutakku the company has created a game in which players’ wounds are mostly self-inflicted as contestants in push their luck in an effort to construct the tallest dice tower possible.

The Sutakku game includes 12 extra large designer dice, a black cloth dice bag, a stacking board, and a scorepad.
