Comic-Con News—Two surprise guests showed up at the Legendary Comics panel, Paul Pope and Matt Wagner.  Legendary EIC Bob Schreck announced the fall 2011 publication of Pope’s Pulphope, a 200-page collection of art from all stages of Pope’s career including many pieces that have never been published before.

 

Matt Wagner's contribution to the Legendary line will debut in the spring of 2012.  The Tower Chronicles, a new ongoing comic from Wagner (Mage, Grendel) that was developed with Legendary’s CEO Thomas Tull.  The series will be an action adventure saga with supernatural overtones. John Tower is a bounty hunter with hidden past.  He and his band of high-tech mercenaries are all that stand between ordinary citizens and hordes of dark supernatural forces.
