Disney has announced release dates in the summer of 2014 for three as-yet-unnamed films, two of which the Mouse House identifies as “Marvel movies.” The first Marvel movie date is May 16th, 2014. It will be followed two weeks later by an untitled Disney/Pixar release. The second unnamed Marvel release is slated for June 27th, 2014.

 

Since Iron Man 3 (May 3rd, 2013) and Thor 2 (July 26th, 2013, see “Game of Thrones Helmer in Talks for Thor 2”) already have dates, The Hollywood Reporter speculates that the two unnamed 2014 Marvel movies could be a Captain America sequel and Doctor Strange (see “Marvel Still Working on Doctor Strange Movie”), but the long-gestating Ant Man movie could be in the mix as well as The Guardians of the Galaxy, and possibly even the apparently stalled adaptation of The Runaways.
