Tokyopop has announced that it has acquired the rights to five manga properties created by the all-female artist collective CLAMP, and that they will begin releasing the nine volumes involved in April 2003.  The first release, due April 15, will be CLAMP School Detectives.  One book per month will follow.  Here are the five series involved:

CLAMP School Detectives, a three volume series, follows a trio of pre-teen sleuths with unique abilities.

Duklyon:  CLAMP School Defenders, a two-volume series, stars two high school freshmen that are members of an elite police force that protects the CLAMP School from alien invaders.

Man of Many Faces, a two-volume series, stars Akira Ijyuin from CLAMP School Detectives, and follows him and the girl who loves him from grade school to adulthood.

Miyuki-chan in Wonderland, a stand-alone book, is a 'loose, sexy retelling' of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.  This book will also feature a dozen full-color art pages, including character designs from the anime.

Shirahime-syo:  Snow Goddess Tales, a stand-alone book, is 'an anthology of folktales about the 'Snow Goddess,' whose tears create snow.'  This book will be released as a hardback before its trade paperback release.  The art style features brushstrokes and naturalistic backgrounds, unlike other CLAMP work.
