Dark Horse announced The Art of the Mass Effect Universe at Pax Prime this weekend.  This deluxe hardcover volume will showcase art for Mass Effect 3, the next release in the video game franchise, due out March 6, 2012.  The hardcover collection, with never-before-seen artwork, will be released in February at $39.99.

Dark Horse is also producing Mass Effect comics (see “EA, Dark Horse Team Up for ‘Mass Effect’”), with Mass Effect: Invasion, the next miniseries, launching October 19; and the collection of Mass Effect: Evolution, the last series, out September 21.
