Archie Comics has announced that its gay character Kevin Keller will get married in Life with Archie #16, out in January.  Life with Archie depicts the twenty-something world of Riverdale.  In the issue, Keller returns to Riverdale a war hero to marry Mr. Right with the whole gang attending, while Archie and Veronica are separated. 

The fact that Keller would appear as a married character had been revealed last summer at Comic-Con (see “Gay Marriage next for Archie’s Kevin Keller”), but another Archie “wedding issue” will undoubtedly be a publicity bonanza. 

Keller stars in his own monthly series as a teen (see “Archie Plans Kevin Keller Miniseries”).
