Fox has acquired rights to DC’s The Spectre, and placed a script order, according to Deadline.  The pilot will be written and executive produced by Brandon Camp (John Doe), who was introduced to the property by DC CCO Geoff Johns, according to the report. 

Warner Bros. TV and Gerber Pictures (Gran Torino) will produce. 

Fox recently ended its Human Target series, based on DC comics (see “'Human Target' Cancelled”).
