New York Comic Con organizer ReedPOP will host White Space, a new event produced with sister company MIPTV and GeekChicDaily and Nerdist Industries, on Thursday, October 13th.  The event will be an invitation-only “think tank” with brief talks from three masters of media; small group discussions led by influential moderators; and a cocktail reception.
ReedPOP Vice President Lance Fensterman described the content focus. “Our discussion and focus will be on the consumer revolution and the complex and influential relationship between consumers, content, brands, and devices,” he said.
Invitees will include masters and innovators in the fields of TV, film, comics, games, technology, and advertising.
MIPTV is the world’s leading market for creating, financing, and distributing TV content in all its forms. GeekChicDaily and Nerdist bring connections with backers Legendary Pictures, Mandalay Entertainment, Joe Roth, and Machinima CEO Allen DeBevoise.
The objective, according to ReedPOP, is to build “…a business-based show-within-a-show for the makers and developers of pop culture while providing the exposure, audience and reach which defines New York Comic Con.”
