Days of Wonder will release a free mini-expansion for the popular Small World game that is designed to allow players to combine the basic game with the newer Underground version. Small World Tunnels will be available in the U.S. in November.
The expansion includes rules and components to connect the original Small World game board to the Small World Underground game board. It allows all Races and Special Powers from both sets to work together. This expansion requires both Small World and Small World Underground to play.
Small World Tunnels includes components for two to six player games, using multiple board combinations. It will be made available first at Essen Spiel in Germany, from October 20 – 23. This will be the third free mini-expansion to be released for the game, following Small World Leaders in 2009 and Necromancer Island in 2010.
