Comic Book Legal Defense Fund has announced a new round of fantastic incentives for membership donations as part of its Be Counted fundraising campaign (see “Be Counted: SNL Tix, Brefoort Review”) from legendary comic creator and film director Frank Miller, Babymouse creators Jennifer and Matthew Holm, and DC SVP and Vertigo editor Karen Berger.
Miller and longtime editor Bob Schreck will join a $5000 donor and his or her guest for lunch in New York City.
Babymouse creators Jennifer and Matthew Holm are offering a walk-on role in Babymouse 17 and a 15 minute Skype visit with both of them by auction. Jennifer Holm is offering a writer’s professional development review for a donation of $1000; Matthew Holm is offering an artist’s professional development review for a donation of $500. And Matthew Holm will create personalized sketchcards for contributors who donate $250 or more.
And longtime Vertigo editor Karen Berger is offering professional development reviews for contributors who make a $400 contribution or more.
