In November Wayne and Lanny, two elves who are involved in making sure that Santa’s visits happen smoothly (they are in charge of “preparation” and “landing”) in the Disney Animation’s Christmas special Prep and Landing, will make a special 8-page guest appearance in three Marvel comics.  Wayne, who has been working at “Prep and Landing” for 227 years, still hasn’t gotten a promotion. 

 

This year Wayne and his feckless apprentice Lanny have drawn a tough assignment.  They have to prepare the Avengers Headquarters for the Big Red Guy’s visit.  The significance of prepping the household of the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes for Santa’s visit is lost on Wayne and Lanny, for them it’s just another night on the greatest job ever.

 

Writer Kevin Deters and artist Jon Mateo have created this highly enjoyable Avengers/Prep & Landing crossover tale, "Prep & Landing: Mansion Impossible" which will be included in these three Marvel November titles, Avengers #19, Super-Heroes #20, and Spider-Man #20.

 

The original Prep and Landing Christmas Special hits DVD on November 22nd, while a new Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice special will air on ABC during the coming Christmas season.
