Marvel has announced that it will ship comic stores twice their initial orders on its Point One one-shot (see “’Point One’ Is ‘Foundation’ of 2012”) “…to ensure all retailers have enough stock to meet anticipated demand over the next year.” The additional copies bring the copies to be shipped to “over 120,000 copies,” which means the initial orders were not hugely robust. The additional copies will be free of charge (except for shipping), and will match all initial orders except the incentive inked variant cover.

Point One is a 64-page book that Marvel described as a “Rosetta Stone” for the Marvel Universe in 2012 (see “Marvel Teases the Return of Phoenix”).
