Darin Batten of All-Star Comics and Games in Mishawaka, Indiana recently sent us a comment supporting more comics for kids, including Disney Comics (see 'Darin Batten of All Star Comics on Comics for Kids'). Then he saw the announcement that Gemstone had signed an agreement to bring back Disney comics (see 'Interview with Steve Geppi on Gemstone Disney Comics--Part 1' and 'Interview with Steve Geppi on Gemstone Disney Comics--Part 2'), and sent in his approval:
All I can say is wow! I guess I am not so far off the mark! Good luck to Gemstone and we here at All Star Comics & Games will be thankful for the Disney product. Just remember that a kids book needs to be affordable. A kid is not going to have the same kind of disposable money that a teen or an adult would have. Keep these cheap and everyone will be happy. Thanks for posting my earlier comments. You folks are doing the industry a wonderful service.
