Bil Keane, who created Family Circus in 1960, passed away on November 8th at the age of 89.  The single panel comic continues to appear in over 1500 papers around the world, drawn by his son Jeff.  As recently as two years ago, Keane was still contributing ideas to the comics (see “Interview with Jeff Keane”).  IDW has been collecting the comics chronologically in deluxe hardcovers (see “IDW to Collect Family Circus”).
