WizKids has announced the second expansion for its popular dice-building game Quarriors!: Quarmageddon.

 

The Quarmageddon expansion features 40 new custom dice, two new spells and six new creatures: the Barbarian Gnome, Mischievous Imp, Voodoo Doll, Lord of the Quarry, Heavenly Seraph and Troll Behemoth.  Some of the creatures have a brand new “immunity” ability that makes them immune to spell effects or creature abilities – even though they can still be damaged in combat.

 

This expansion also features a revised rulebook that has a few updates; such as adding a new “Spent Pile” area and combining the Drawing/Readying and Rolling phases into one phase.  The new expansion also includes playmats and a storage box for all the Quarriors! dice to date, including expansions.

 

Quarriors! (see WizKids Launches Dice Building Game) has seen almost immediate success jumping to third on the list of top Card/Building Games (see Top Ten Card/Building Games --summer of 2011).  The initial launch was followed by its first expansion: Rise of the Demons (see Rise of the Demons).

 

Quarriors! Quarmageddon releases in June and is for two-four players ages 14 and up.  The Quarriors! original game is required to play.
