Spoiler Alert--The Russian trailer for Tim Burton's Dark Shadows includes footage not seen in the American promo, including a shot of one the film's key cameo appearance, someone whose public personality fits the Dark Shadows ethos like a glove as well as lives up to Collins' description as "the ugliest woman I have ever seen."

The recently released American trailer basically let the cat out of the bag—Burton and Depp are have way too much fun with Dark Shadows and are treating the venerable TV soap as fodder for a bizarre dark comedy with the Victorian-clad Barnabas Collins resurrected from a 19th Century grave and forced to confront the indignities of disco-era America (see “Finally, The Dark Shadows Trailer and Poster”).  Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows opens nationwide May 11th.
