The continuing expansion of Webcomic phenomenon Axe Cop will hit a new level in early 2013 when six 15-minute animated episodes begin airing as part of Fox’s new Animation Domination HD block, as reported by Variety.  A writer is the next step for the short try-out order; Animation Domination is producing.  Animation Domination is a new latenight Fox programming block headed by an ex-Adult Swim exec.

Axe Cop was created in 2010 by then  five-year-old Malachai Nicolle and his 29-year-old comic artist/writer brother Ethan Nicolle.  It has since spawned comic collections (see "'Troublemaker' Over 80K") and a card game (see "'Axe Cop' Expansion for 'Munchkin'").
