The new extended clip for the CW’s Arrow provides a much better sense of what the show will be like than the first clip that the CW released that concentrated on demonstrating Oliver Queen’s considerable archery skills (see "First Clip From the CW's 'Arrow'").  The new clip, which is over three and one-half minutes long, has enough time to introduce Katie Cassidy, who will play Dinah Laurel Lance (aka Black Canary), in the new series (see "TV's Green Arrow Finds His Black Canary").  The new clip also has time to depict more of Queen’s crime-fighting action.

 

CW’s Arrow, which stars Stephen Amell and is based on DC Comics’ Green Arrow, will debut in October in a prime Wednesday night spot as a lead-in the Supernatural.  Arrow will air at 8pm in the Eastern and Pacific time zones, and at 7pm in the Central and Mountain zones (see "CW Puts 'Arrow' in Wednesday Night Slot").
