Wizards of the Coast has announced the beginning of D&D Lair Assault: Spiderkiller, the latest D&D Lair Assault Challenge has begun at participating hobby game stores.  The new event will run in stores in the Wizard Play Network through August 31st.  D&D Lair Assault: Spiderkiller pits tactically-minded players against an ultimate, skill-testing challenge to defeat fierce enemies in a thrilling convention-style play setting.

 

The challenging highlights of the event include careening down the River Sargauth on a raft, descending in a whirlpool into the "Lost Level" of Undermountain, battling drow and spiders, and facing an array of random effects in a chamber of mirrors and pillars.
