Hogshead Publishing Ltd. has announced that it has been acquired by Mark Ricketts from founder James Wallis, who started the company in 1994, and will begin publishing d20 roleplaying games this year, with at least one release in time for GenCon in August.  Hogshead had been shut down at the end of November, and its games handed off to other parties (see 'Hogshead Publishing Hangs It Up').  Creating an element of continuity, production editor Carol Johnson will remain with the company under its new owner.

Planned 2003 releases include Crime Scene, a forensic investigation game; The Business, a 21st century crime game featuring 'gangs, gangsters, and linguini;' and The Harrowed, a gothic horror game playable both in tabletop and live formats.
