Paizo Publishing, makers of the popular Pathfinder role-playing game, intends to release no less than ten new Pathfinder products in August—just in time for the Gen Con game fair—including the long-awaited Ultimate Equipment Guide hardcover book, and the Bestiary Box game accessory.
The Ultimate Equipment Guide will be a 400-page hardcover tome featuring all kinds of magic items and adventuring gear from mundane camping equipment to earth-shattering artifacts, including rules, price lists, and random treasure tables. Over 1000 different items are described. The suggested retail price will be $44.99.
The
Bestiary Box is the companion accessory for the
Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Bestiary book. This boxed set includes more than 300 cardboard stand-up pieces with full-color images of the monsters in the
Bestiary, suitable for use as game pieces and sized to work with traditional miniatures. Suggested retail price: $34.99.
Also releasing in August:
The conclusion to the Skull & Shackles Adventure Path will be entitled From Hell’s Heart. This is volume 60 of the on-going Adventure Path series, and is designed for 13th level characters. This adventure puts the players in command of a pirate fleet resisting an invading naval force.
The next
Adventure Path story arc, called
Shattered Star, will begin with its first adventure,
Shards of Sin. Intended for 1st level characters, the adventure pits rookie Pathfinders against a known rogue agent.

The
Pathfinder Player Companion: Varisia, Birthplace of Legends provides details and gameplay options for characters based in the region of Varisia, including background information on the peoples of the region, character archetypes, gear, and maps. Designed for players who want to flesh out their characters. Suggested retail price: $10.99.
The
Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Paths of Prestige is a 64-page book of prestige class options for every major character class in the
Pathfinder game. Descriptions of 30 prominent faiths and factions of the Inner Sea setting are also described. Suggested retail price will be $19.99.
A stand-alone
Pathfinder adventure module,
The Moonscar reveals a long-lost portal linked to the demon-moon Golarion. Designed for 16th level characters, the 32-page adventure challenges the players to explore an abyssal jungle and confront the demon queen. Suggested retail: $13.99.
