Fans of The Walking Dead will be able to pick up four different versions of this week’s Entertainment Weekly, which includes extensive coverage of the third season of AMC’s hugely popular adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead.  The third season of the TV series, which debuts in October, features the introduction of new characters, such a Michonne (who was glimpsed at the end of Season 2, but who really comes into her katana-swinging own in Season 3), and the return of others such as the uber-redneck Merle (each of whom gets some cover time in this week’s quartet of collectible EW editions).

Here is David Morrisey as The Governor, Season 3’s major villain (see "'The Walking Dead's' Governor Revealed").
