Gen Con News: At Gen Con Fantasy Flight Games announced the upcoming U.S. release of Legends of Andor (MSRP $49.95), a cooperative adventure board game for 2-4 players in which a band of heroes must work together to defend a fantasy realm from invading hordes.  A clever game system designed by Michael Menzel, who also provides the game’s striking art, keeps monsters on the march to threaten the kingdom so players have to balance their priorities carefully to be able to defeat the invading hordes.

 

The deluxe Legends of Andor board game includes a full color game board, 4 double-sided hero boards, 1 merchant/inventor/battle sequence board, 138 cards, 179 cardboard tiles, tokens, and markers, 14 wooden cubes and disks, one cardboard tower, 41 plastic stands, 20 six-sided die, 1 quick-start rules booklet, and 1 reference booklet.
