Palladium Games has announced the October release of the Robotech: Genesis Pits Sourcebook (MSRP $16.95), which will provide an in-depth look at the Invid Genesis Pits, their purpose, function, and the monsters and mutants that they create.  This 96-page, 8x11.5-inch sourcebook written by Irvin Jackson is the first to be released by Palladium Games under a new agreement signed with Robotech licensor Harmony Gold (see "'Robotech' Miniatures").

 

The Genesis Pits Sourcebook provides tons of information including the full skinny on the "Secrets of the Invid," plus a survey of notable "Genesis Pits on Earth," the kinds of mutants and monster produced, the different types of Genesis Pits from across the galaxy, the lowdown on the Inorganics and other war machines of the Invid Regent as well as vital info on Bioroid and Zentraedi mutants, Simulgents and more. In addition this invaluable volume includes Genesis Pit Monster creation tables and rules.

 

The Robotech: Genesis Pits Sourcebook is not a stand-alone game, the Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles RPG core rulebook is required in order to play.
