Why wait years for a Justice League movie when an epic film starring Batman and Superman is due out in 2013?  Well perhaps you are put off by seeing your favorite superheroes reduced to block-like toys, but if not then Lego Batman: The Movie might well be an entertaining diversion that will make the several-year wait for a Warner Bros. Justice League movie a little easier to bear. 

 

More details about the Lego Batman movie were announced at the NYCC.  In the animated feature Lex Luthor and the Joker team up to deconstruct Gotham City brick-by-brick forcing Batman and Robin to seek aid from Supes and some other Justice League/DC stalwarts such as Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Cyborg and Green Lantern.

 

Will Arnett provides the voice for Bruce Wayne/Batman, while Channing Tatum handles the vocal chores for Supes (see "Will Arnett as Batman, Channing Tatum as Superman").
