Bandai has announced that it will be releasing Jagun Fighters, collectible action figures with game play activity, in the U.S. in July.  Starter Packs, at a $9.99 MSRP, will include five 'stone fighters' (of fifty); playmat; and an exclusive trading card with character info.  Booster Sets, at a $2.99 MSRP, will each include three stone fighters.  Three inch figures, each of which will be sold with one stone fighter, will have an MSRP of $4.99, while the detailed and articulated 6.5' action figures, which each have a magical spinning eye and can be incorporated into game play, will come with a trading card at a MSRP of $9.99.

The Jagun Fighters storyline is that 2000 years ago, great beasts invaded, battles broke out, and the people sought guidance from their Emperor.  The Emperor summoned the Jagun Warriors, who offered him five magnficent stones.  Each had a glowing center, The Eye, and the Warriors explained that The Eye held the ultimate power of man and beast.  The villagers conquered evil using the Power of The Eye.

In the game, the stone fighters are used to battle the opposing player or defend against the attacker.  The object is to send all of the opponents' fighters to the graveyard.
